About

Monica Goga is a Consultant at Ivy Planning Group (Ivy), a 30-year-old management consulting and training company that specializes in strategy, diversity, leadership and change management. Monica is a part of Ivy’s quantitative and qualitative research assessment team. She codes and synthesizes qualitative data (e.g., data from interviews and focus groups), analyzes quantitative data, and compiles DEI findings into technical reports.


Prior to joining Ivy, Monica was a graduate student at Illinois Institute of Technology where she honed her skills in conducting comprehensive job analyses and training needs assessments, developing and analyzing surveys, and validating selection tools. Monica also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for advanced statistics courses, and contributed to her graduate program’s Machine Learning Lab. In an academic setting, Monica has collaborated on projects with the Chicago Public School system and Lockton Companies. These involved administering surveys, conducting interviews and focus groups to gather data on training needs and organizational culture, analyzing and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data to offer evidence-based solutions, and communicating findings in technical reports.


Monica has previously worked as Claims Specialist with ComPsych Corporation, where she became familiar with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other employment laws, and as an intern with Sojourner Family Peace Center where she helped organize fundraising events for families affected by domestic violence in Milwaukee.

Monica earned a MS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a BA degree in Psychology from Marquette University.


Monica lives in Chicago, IL where she enjoys spending time with family and exploring the city.
